If you successfully complete your studies, you and your spouse or common-law partner and dependent children may qualify, provided you meet the following conditions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You are living in Canada outside Quebec<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You hold valid temporary resident status when applying<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You earned an eligible degree or diploma while participating in the FMCSP<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Additional criteria may apply depending on the immigration program you use to apply for permanent residence. This pathway gives French-speaking graduates an opportunity to remain in Canada, contribute to Francophone minority communities, and build a long-term future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eligible Countries<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants must be citizens of specific Organisation internationale de la Francophonie countries in Africa, the Middle East and the Americas, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>B\u00e9nin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cabo Verde, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, C\u00f4te d&#8217;Ivoire, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Dominica, Republic of the Congo, Djibouti, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Ha\u00efti, Lebanon, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Morocco, Niger, Rwanda, Saint Lucia, S\u00e3o Tom\u00e9 and Principe, Senegal, Seychelles, Togo, and Tunisia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Program Requirements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/immigration.ca\/canada-study-portal\/\">Study<\/a> programs under the FMCSP must:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Be full-time and at the post-secondary level<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Last at least two years<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lead to a degree or diploma<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have French as the primary language of instruction (more than 50% of courses taught in French)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Participating Institutions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants must apply to participating DLIs outside Quebec. The required amount depends on the size of the community where the school\u2019s main campus is located. Proof can include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bank statements (last 4 months)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proof of a Canadian bank account in your name<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC) from a Canadian financial institution<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proof of student or education loans<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bank drafts convertible to Canadian dollars<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proof of tuition and housing payments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Letters from sponsors or schools giving financial support<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proof of scholarships or Canadian-funded programs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If your country has foreign exchange controls, you must prove that you can legally transfer funds for your studies and living expenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bringing Family Members<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You may bring your spouse or common-law partner and dependent children to Canada.
